Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology Partners with Sinaha Technology to Accelerate Industry 4.0 Adoption in UAE Manufacturing

Key Developments in AI and Robotics Adoption

Abu Dhabi, UAE — On Wednesday, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) formalized a partnership with Sinaha Technology through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing the integration of artificial intelligence, robotics, and Industry 4.0 solutions within the UAE’s manufacturing sector. The signing took place during the Make it in the Emirates 2026 event, with notable figures including Fatma AlMheiri, Director of Technology Adoption and Development at MoIAT, and Mubarak Abed Nasser Doman AlAmeri, Authorized Director at Sinaha Technology, in attendance.

Objectives of the MoU

The collaboration will focus on assisting high-potential manufacturers in developing technology roadmaps and implementing practical Industry 4.0 solutions. This initiative aims to facilitate a transition from assessment to execution, ultimately leading to measurable enhancements in productivity and operational efficiency.

Fatma AlMheiri emphasized MoIAT’s commitment to realizing the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology. She stated that the partnership with Sinaha Technology is a significant step towards strengthening supply chains and reinforcing the UAE’s status as a global hub for advanced industry. The Transform 4.0 initiative is designed to help manufacturers adopt technology more rapidly, align production with market demand, and foster the growth of industrial small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Innovations in Warehouse Management

Mubarak AlAmeri highlighted Sinaha Technology’s recent advancements, including the launch of one of the UAE’s first intelligent warehouse systems. This system utilizes locally engineered technologies to enable fully autonomous operations, integrating robotics, software, and real-time decision-making. The company’s proprietary Robotics Management System facilitates seamless coordination among multi-vendor fleets, enhancing operational efficiency.

Additionally, Sinaha is developing physics-based digital twin environments, allowing operators to design, test, and optimize logistics systems in a virtual setting before real-world implementation. This approach aims to mitigate risks and accelerate the deployment of new technologies.

Broader Implications for UAE Manufacturing

The partnership aligns with MoIAT’s broader objectives to enhance the manufacturing capabilities of UAE firms, enabling them to produce more, grow more, and expand their export potential. The fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates is organized by MoIAT in collaboration with various entities, including the Ministry of Culture and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.

Overview of MoIAT’s Role

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology plays a crucial role in shaping industrial policies and advancing technological transformation in the UAE. Established in July 2020, MoIAT aims to empower the national industrial sector and accelerate industrial transformation across the country. The Ministry fosters strategic partnerships and leads national initiatives to support the growth of future industries, enhance economic resilience, and attract industrial investment.

MoIAT’s efforts focus on advancing the National Industry and Advanced Technology Strategy, strengthening supply chain resilience, and expanding access to global markets. The Ministry prioritizes the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies across key sectors, including food security, healthcare, defense, space, aerospace, and the digital economy.

Supporting Local Industries

In addition to its technological initiatives, MoIAT enhances the national In-Country Value (ICV) program, promotes entrepreneurship, and empowers Emirati talent. These efforts contribute to the competitiveness of UAE-manufactured products in both local and international markets.

Through initiatives such as Make it in the Emirates, the National In-Country Value program, and the Technology Transformation Program, MoIAT connects manufacturers, investors, startups, and entrepreneurs to opportunities that facilitate business growth and advance industrial self-sufficiency.
