The grand opening of the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi took place on Thursday, attended by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. Situated in the Saadiyat Cultural District, this museum stands out as the largest institution of its kind in the Middle East, covering an impressive 35,000 square meters.

Scheduled to open to the public on November 22, 2025, the museum is poised to become a pivotal addition to the cultural landscape of the UAE. For the first time globally, a complete herd comprising five distinct species will be on display. Additionally, the museum features one of the most intact Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons ever unearthed, along with a well-preserved Triceratops specimen.
