Brigadier Nasser Sulaiman Al Maskari, Director of the Central Operations Sector, honoured these individuals for their bravery and quick response in critical situations, which significantly contributed to saving lives and enhancing public safety.
Among those honoured was Yusra Qasim Ahmed Awtli, who, despite sustaining injuries in a school bus accident, took charge by calming the children and organising their evacuation until help arrived. Her actions exemplified remarkable courage and leadership in a distressing situation.
Additionally, Nabil Ali Saleh Al Baloushi and Khalid Ali Abdullah Al Mansouri were recognised for their heroic efforts in rescuing two individuals trapped in vehicles that caught fire during separate traffic incidents. Their swift actions not only saved lives but also showcased the vital role of community members in emergency situations.
Mohammed Waqar Zulfiqar Ali also received commendation for his proactive approach in reporting and removing a road hazard, which helped prevent potential traffic accidents. His initiative highlights the importance of vigilance and responsibility among road users.
