Sheikh Mansour Launches Companies for Good 2031 Strategy to Strengthen UAE’s Impact Economy
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, has unveiled the Companies for Good 2031 Strategy. This initiative aims to enhance the UAE’s reputation as a global leader in community sustainability and philanthropy. The announcement took place at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi during a session of the Cabinet Committee for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy.
A Comprehensive Framework for Sustainable Impact
The Companies for Good 2031 Strategy establishes a national framework designed to advance the Impact Economy within the private sector. This framework is intended to bolster the UAE’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, and overall sustainability ecosystem. Sheikh Mansour emphasized that the role of organizations extends beyond mere economic growth; they are also tasked with delivering Sustainable Impact that improves quality of life and supports societal and environmental sustainability.
Vision for Corporate Social Responsibility
Sheikh Mansour articulated that CSR and Sustainable Impact are essential components of the UAE leadership’s vision for enhancing societal prosperity. He stated that these pillars are crucial for fostering a sustainable future for both people and the environment. Sarah Shaw, the Chief Executive Officer of Majra – National CSR Fund, noted that the strategy provides a robust framework enabling the private sector to maximize its contributions to Sustainable Impact while aligning with the UAE’s National Priorities.
Recognition of Outstanding Contributions
During the launch event, Sheikh Mansour honored the winners of the Impact Seal, an accolade established to recognize exceptional contributions to Sustainable Impact. The winners for the 2025–2027 cycle were announced, highlighting organizations that have demonstrated leadership in CSR practices.

The 2025–2027 cycle received a total of 160 applications for the Impact Seal, with 114 organizations achieving recognition across the Platinum, Gold, and Silver Tiers. This recognition was based on an assessment against the Impact Seal evaluation framework, underscoring the commitment of these organizations to sustainable practices.
