The DBA Programme: A Competitive Edge

Managed by Falcon Consultancy, the DBA programme is renowned for its rigorous selection process, receiving over 5,500 applications annually from prospective candidates. Established in 2009, Falcon Consultancy specializes in marketing, communications, and innovation. The programme’s nine-month curriculum blends academic learning with hands-on business placements, industry networking, and cultural experiences.

In its tenth edition, DBA welcomed 36 participants from 22 different countries, including nine Emiratis. These associates engage in real-world consulting projects with leading Dubai entities such as Emirates, DIFC, dnata, DP World, and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). This hands-on experience is invaluable, allowing associates to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges.

Achievements Over the Years

Since its inception in 2014, the programme has successfully trained 278 associates from 44 countries, integrating 56 UAE nationals into its ranks. With 140 work placements executed in partnership with over 30 of Dubai’s leading companies, the DBA programme has generated significant contributions to the emirate’s business landscape. Notably, it has delivered 84 consulting projects worth an impressive $27 million, reinforcing its impact on the broader business ecosystem.

A Robust Educational Framework

DBA’s commitment to academic and professional excellence is bolstered by partnerships with leading educational institutions. Collaborators like PwC’s Academy, Capadev, and Bon Education enrich the curriculum with world-class training and development, preparing associates for successful careers. This commitment to quality education ensures that graduates leave the programme equipped with the skills necessary to thrive in competitive environments.

A Bright Future Ahead

The DBA programme’s emphasis on nurturing talent and fostering innovation lays the groundwork for a vibrant future, not just for the graduates but for Dubai as well. The collaborative efforts between alumni, educational partners, and the business community ensure that the programme continues to adapt and evolve, meeting the ever-changing demands of a global economy.
