Mass Wedding Ceremony Celebrates Emirati Heritage and Family Values

Under the esteemed patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a grand group wedding reception took place today at Qasr Al Hosn. This event saw the participation of 101 grooms from Abu Dhabi City, reinforcing the social fabric of the Emirati community.

A Joyous Celebration of Marriage

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who serves as Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, attended the event and extended heartfelt congratulations to the newlyweds and their families. He emphasized the importance of such gatherings in promoting social cohesion and facilitating marriage for young Emiratis, which plays a crucial role in nurturing a stable society.

Sheikh Mansour noted that this initiative aligns with the overarching goal of enhancing family stability within Emirati culture. Among the notable attendees at the ceremony were Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President. Their presence, along with numerous dignitaries and family members, highlighted the depth of community support around this significant occasion.

Cultural Heritage and Family Celebrations

Organized by Majalis Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the Citizens and Community Affairs Office and the “Medeem” initiative from the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, the mass wedding featured a vibrant display of Emirati heritage. Guests enjoyed traditional chants, poetry recitals, and an aerial performance, which added a festive spirit to the proceedings.
