Italy Showcases Dental Innovation at AEEDC 2026
Italy will take the spotlight once more at AEEDC 2026, the largest annual scientific dental conference and exhibition globally. Scheduled for January 19–21, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, this event will highlight 52 exhibiting companies from Italy, showcasing the country’s diverse dental manufacturing landscape.

The event is organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Dental Industries Association (UNIDI). This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive platform for business exchanges and technical discussions, underscoring Italy’s commitment to international collaboration. Growing Demand: A Snapshot of Italy’s Dental Industry
According to the 2025 UNIDI Sector Report, Italy’s dental industry is experiencing robust growth, boasting a total turnover of €1.681 billion in 2024. Notably, exports accounted for 64% of this figure, reflecting significant global demand. The data from the UNIDI Export 2025 Report reveals that dental equipment alone makes up 56% of Italy’s dental exports, highlighting the country’s leadership in high-precision manufacturing and innovative dental solutions.
The Middle East is emerging as a vital market for Italian dental exports, with a recorded value of €47.6 million in 2024 in this region. The United Arab Emirates plays a central role as a gateway for Italian dental innovations. Recent trade data indicates that Italy’s dental exports to the UAE reached €32.67 million from January to September 2025, a remarkable 14.77% increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, Italy’s market share in the UAE rose to 5.38%, signaling a positive trajectory in demand for Italian dental products.

Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the United Arab Emirates.
