MACAU SAR – 8 May 2026 – Galaxy Macau has officially launched the 17th edition of the French GourMay Food & Wine Festival, marking May as a month of celebration centered around the elegance of French culinary traditions. The luxury resort is curating a global gastronomic experience that honors diverse culinary practices while simultaneously offering special Mother’s Day events.

A Culinary Showcase of French Excellence

The French GourMay Food & Wine Festival returns to Galaxy Macau, showcasing authentic and innovative French cuisine. The festival features a range of dining experiences across various venues, including The Ritz-Carlton Café, Raffles Lounge and Terrace, The Apron Oyster Bar & Grill, and CHA BEI.

Among the highlights is the M7 Wagyu Beef Pithivier, a dish meticulously crafted by the culinary team at Raffles at Galaxy Macau. This indulgent creation features marbled M7 Wagyu beef wrapped in hand-crafted all-butter puff pastry, accompanied by slow-sautéed mushrooms and aromatic herbs. Priced at MOP 658, it is designed for sharing and can be paired with a selection of French wines.

The Ritz-Carlton Café offers a four-course dinner inspired by the flavors of Savoie, featuring regional cheeses and dishes such as Beef Tartare with Reblochon and caviar, and Quenelle à la Savoyarde with Brittany lobster. This experience is available for MOP 488 per person, with an optional wine pairing for MOP 388.

At The Apron Oyster Bar & Grill, guests can enjoy the Baked Lobster with Raclette de Savoie for MOP 598, and Diots de Savoie with Tartiflette for MOP 288, both celebrating the hearty culinary spirit of the Savoie region.

Award-winning pastry chef Lok Hin Yam presents the Madagascar Vanilla & Sea Salt Caramel Mille-Feuille at CHA BEI, priced at MOP 120. This dessert features delicate layers of pastry filled with vanilla cream and caramel, offering a refined conclusion to the French GourMay experience.

Mother’s Day Gourmet Sensations

In conjunction with the festival, Galaxy Macau is hosting the Mother’s Day Gourmet Sensations 2026 program, inviting families to honor mothers with a variety of culinary experiences. This includes Michelin-starred dining, elegant brunches, generous buffets, and afternoon tea across the resort’s renowned restaurants.

At Lai Heen, the One-Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant, Executive Chef Jackie Ho has crafted a festive tasting menu featuring luxurious dishes such as double-boiled fish maw soup with fresh abalone and stir-fried lobster with caviar.

At Botanica, Executive Chef Stephen Hsu reinterprets international comfort food with dishes like Smoky Chargrilled Tomahawk and Baked Scallops, complemented by a delicately perfumed rose mousse.

For families seeking a lively atmosphere, Urban Kitchen at JW Marriott offers a buffet featuring fresh seafood and premium meats, perfect for shared celebrations.

Galaxy Macau is also introducing a series of captivating dining offers throughout May:

  • Raffles Lounge & Terrace: The Picnic Under the Chandelier experience features a selection of savory dishes and freshly baked scones, available daily from 15:00 to 17:00, priced at MOP 628 for two persons.

  • Andaz Kitchen: On May 22 and 23, the Chinese-Portuguese Master Chefs Four Hands Dinner Series will showcase a collaboration between Executive Chef André Lai and Chef Calvin Yu, offering a six-course meal for MOP 1,088 per person.

  • Teppanyaki Shou: On May 30, a collaboration with Champagne house Drappier will offer an eight-course omakase menu paired with six curated wines for MOP 2,388.

  • The Spring Time Journey Afternoon Tea at The Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge is available until June 30, featuring seasonal dishes inspired by spring, priced at MOP 538 for a set.

  • Yamazato: An intimate kaiseki dining experience is available daily, showcasing the finest Japanese culinary artistry for MOP 1,380 per person.

Mixology Celebrations

Galaxy Macau’s vibrant bar scene will also feature special events throughout May. On May 21, Pony & Plume will host a guest shift featuring cocktails from Taiwan’s Gallery 20.5, priced at MOP 168 per glass.

On May 29, The Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge will welcome Champion Mixologist Damon Hee Mahn Park for a unique mixology experience, showcasing signature cocktails crafted with premium spirits.
