Distinction from Existing Passenger Services
Etihad Rail’s national passenger service commenced operations in the UAE, with the first scheduled service starting on June 30, 2026, connecting Fujairah with Mohammed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi. This existing service is part of the UAE’s national railway network, connecting several emirates at speeds of up to approximately 200 km/h.
