Dubai Police Strengthens Security Excellence with Awards for Top-Performing Stations and Teams in Q2 2026

Dubai Police recently recognized exemplary security performance during a ceremony held to honor outstanding police stations for the second quarter of 2026. The event underscored the dedication of police and administrative personnel in enhancing security indicators and providing high-quality services to the community, aligning with the strategic goals of Dubai Police to bolster safety and security.

His Excellency Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs at Dubai Police, presided over the ceremony. He emphasized the importance of institutional excellence as a fundamental aspect of the policing framework, reflecting the leadership’s vision to improve quality of life and community safety. Major General Al Shamsi noted that the achievements of various police stations stem from a culture of teamwork, commitment to efficiency, and a focus on innovation in service delivery.

The ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Major General Eid Mohammed Thani, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs; Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering; and Brigadier Majid Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations. Other attendees included Brigadier Saeed Al Madhani and Brigadier Rashid Al Shehhi, along with various department directors and police officers.

Major General Al Shamsi congratulated the honorees and urged them to maintain their momentum towards excellence. He stated, “I encourage them to press ahead on their journey of excellence with one-team spirit, continue enhancing performance, and raise the bar of achievement, in keeping with the aspirations of our wise leadership and reinforcing Dubai Police’s standing as a global model of policing and institutional excellence.”

Recognition of Police Stations

Brigadier Saeed Al Madhani addressed the audience, expressing pride in the achievements of the police stations and specialized departments. He acknowledged the commitment to professionalism and excellence that has significantly strengthened the security framework. Brigadier Al Madhani highlighted that the recognition serves as both an appreciation for hard work and a motivation to foster a competitive culture within the workplace.

He extended gratitude to Major General Al Shamsi for his unwavering support in recognizing and motivating employees, emphasizing the collective goal of ensuring safety and security throughout the UAE.

Honoring Outstanding Teams

Following the speeches, Major General Al Shamsi presented awards to outstanding teams in various categories, including criminal, traffic, administrative, and specialist sectors. The Criminal Monitoring and Analysis Team from Al Rashidiya Police Station received the Best Criminal Team Award, while the Traffic Phenomena Team from Al Barsha Police Station was honored with the Best Traffic Team Award. The Operational Cost Reduction Team, also from Al Rashidiya Police Station, won the Best Administrative Team Award, and the Communication Team from the Victim Support Centre was recognized as the Best Specialist Team.

Awards for Police Stations

In the category of “Best Police Station Achieving 100% Security Coverage,” the winners included Al Barsha Police Station, Naif Police Station, Al Muraqqabat Police Station, the Mounted Police Station, Nad Al Sheba Police Station, and Hatta Police Station.

For the “Best Police Stations in the Completion of Transactions and Criminal Reports,” Al Qusais Police Station secured first place in Category (A), Al Raffa Police Station won Category (B), and Hatta Police Station took home the award for Category (C). These awards recognized their excellence in performance indicators, quality of completion, and response speed.

Additionally, Al Faqqa and Al Raffa Police Stations were awarded for their rapid response to critical emergencies, further demonstrating their commitment to community safety.

The ceremony also acknowledged exceptional contributors from Bur Dubai police stations, Deira police stations, specialized centers, and general departments within the Dubai Police General Command, all of whom played a vital role in achieving the objectives of the police stations.

A special tribute was paid to Brigadier Sultan Al Owais, Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Establishments, for his significant contributions during his tenure as Deputy Director of the General Department of Police Stations for Deira Police Stations Affairs.
