Preparations Underway for Exceptional ACRES 2027 to Strengthen Sharjah’s Real Estate Competitiveness
Sharjah: The Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition (ACRES) is gearing up for its 2027 edition, set to take place in January. This upcoming event aims to build on the record successes of previous exhibitions while expanding its reach both locally and internationally.
H.E. Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and head of the ACRES Higher Organising Committee, announced that a multi-year strategic roadmap, titled “ACRES Future Vision,” is in development. This initiative seeks to enhance the exhibition’s stature as a leading platform in the regional and international real estate markets.
The announcement came during a meeting of the ACRES Higher Organising Committee at SCCI’s headquarters, where members reviewed planning progress and proposed enhancements for the 2027 exhibition.
Key Figures in Attendance
The meeting included notable figures such as H.E. Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD); H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI; and H.E. Abdul Aziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department. Other attendees included H.E. Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Organising Committee of ACRES, and Nawaf Obeid, CEO of the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition.
The committee discussed a strategic roadmap that includes measurable objectives and clearly defined timelines for implementation. Plans were also made to launch initiatives that align with evolving market dynamics and emerging trends in the real estate sector.

In his opening remarks, H.E. Abdallah Sultan Al Owais expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his unwavering support of ACRES. He emphasized that this support has been crucial for the exhibition’s growth and success, establishing it as one of the most prestigious real estate events in the region.
Al Owais stated that ACRES symbolizes Sharjah’s commitment to developing its real estate sector as a vital component of the local economy. He noted that the exhibition reflects the emirate’s strategic vision for sustainable investment and urban development, showcasing transformative projects initiated under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

H.E. Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi highlighted that SRERD has begun early preparations for the upcoming exhibition in close collaboration with SCCI and strategic partners. He indicated that the goal is to deliver an event that meets investor expectations and fosters new investment opportunities.
Al Shamsi pointed out that the achievements of ACRES have been a catalyst for ongoing development and responsiveness to market needs. The previous edition in 2026 saw transactions exceeding AED 5 billion and attracted over 18,000 visitors, with more than 120 exhibitors showcasing over 200 real estate projects.
He remarked that ACRES embodies the forward-looking vision of the leadership in Sharjah, which has laid the groundwork for a stable and attractive investment environment.

The commitment to enhancing strategic partnerships with stakeholders was underscored by Al Shamsi. He stated that these efforts aim to streamline procedures and elevate real estate and digital services, ensuring a seamless experience for exhibitors and visitors alike. H.E. Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi noted that the ongoing success of ACRES has established a performance benchmark that raises expectations for future editions. During the meeting, the Higher Organising Committee reviewed efforts to develop a long-term strategic roadmap under the “ACRES Future Vision” framework.
