Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Emaar Properties has successfully concluded its participation in the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates (MIITE), the largest iteration of the event to date. The MIITE took place from May 4 to 7, 2026, at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the event serves as a vital national platform that connects manufacturers, investors, and strategic partners. This year’s theme, “Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger,” highlights the event’s role in accelerating the UAE’s industrial growth. The event attracted over 122,500 visitors, featured 1,000 exhibitors, and included 300 speakers, facilitating more than AED 168 billion in offtake agreements in previous editions.

On the opening day of the event, Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, participated in a high-level panel discussion titled “Adaptive by Design – Family Businesses as Pillars of Resilience and Continuity.” During this session, he reflected on lessons learned from past economic cycles and the necessity of building robust institutions capable of navigating challenges. Alabbar emphasized the importance of long-term thinking, discipline, and resilience in sustaining growth, noting that well-structured organizations are better equipped to adapt and thrive in changing market conditions.
