In a landmark announcement that signifies a shift in innovative practices, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) has officially unveiled “Digital Zero Four.” This ambitious initiative marks the establishment of the first national company dedicated to the smart transformation of commercial operations and the development of digital solutions aimed at supporting global economic growth.

During the launch event, H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the Chairman of the PCFC, highlighted the significance of this new company. He noted that launching Digital Zero Four from Dubai—a city renowned as a leading hub for technology and innovation—reinforces the Corporation’s commitment to enhancing Dubai’s reputation as a global center for technological advancements in logistics and trade. Digital Zero Four is poised to act as a digital gateway, offering cutting-edge smart solutions across various segments including ports and maritime transport.

Bin Sulayem expressed pride in positioning Dubai at the forefront of global technological innovation. “With the launch of Digital Zero Four,” he stated, “we strive to lead in technological development and extend our pioneering services within the port sector, which have been enhanced through inventive digital solutions.” The ultimate vision is to transform Dubai into a model city that efficiently manages logistics services, fully leveraging the expertise of local talents specializing in technology and artificial intelligence.

The inception of Digital Zero Four is firmly rooted in the Corporation’s broader artificial intelligence strategy and aligns seamlessly with the objectives set out in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this agenda outlines a forward-thinking vision for the emirate, focusing on investing in human capital and advanced technology. This investment strategically aims to bolster Dubai’s world-class infrastructure and strengthen its appeal as a business-friendly environment for both national and international investors.

H.E. Nasser Al Neyadi, the CEO of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, shared his enthusiasm for launching Digital Zero Four, referring to it as a commercial front that showcases the organization’s technological prowess in logistics. He emphasized that the innovations developed by their national team are transforming a spectrum of industries. “Through this new endeavor, we aim to project our innovative solutions into global markets, further establishing Dubai as a pivotal center for smart technologies and digital transformation,” Al Neyadi remarked.

Digital Zero Four will focus on delivering AI-driven services and solutions that are set to boost efficiency and drive institutional growth across key sectors. These include commercial licensing, civil engineering, port security, maritime operations, and advanced customs solutions. The company will operate under the auspices of the PCFC’s Technology and Digital Transformation sector, which ensures a combination of institutional know-how and the latest advancements in digital innovation.
