Dubai Business Associates Opens Applications for 2026 Cohort
Dubai is taking significant steps to nurture the talents of young professionals worldwide with the launch of the selection process for the 2026 Dubai Business Associates (DBA) programme. This fully funded graduate training initiative is entering its twelfth year, offering a unique opportunity for fresh graduates to gain invaluable experience and knowledge in various fields such as strategy, consulting, and leadership.
A Competitive Opportunity
The DBA programme is known for being highly selective, evidenced by its previous edition, which attracted over 6,600 applications from more than 140 countries. From this pool, only 35 candidates were chosen to participate, making it a challenging and sought-after opportunity for graduates looking to kickstart their careers.
Fully funded by the Dubai government, the programme spans nine months, combining academic learning with practical experience. Participants have the chance to engage in real-world consulting projects with renowned organizations, including Emirates and DP World.
Practical Experience and Cultural Immersion
Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, DBA emphasizes not just traditional education but also practical exposure. Participants don’t just learn in the classroom; they immerse themselves in Dubai’s vibrant business culture while building a robust professional network.
The programme collaborates with industry leaders such as PwC, Capadev, and Bon Education to offer comprehensive training in both technical and soft skills. This includes management consulting, finance, data analytics, and essential soft skills like effective communication and leadership.
Application Details
Aspiring candidates can submit their applications until March 1, 2026, with the programme slated to begin in September 2026. To qualify, applicants should possess a recent bachelor’s degree and have no more than three years of work experience. Fluency in English—both verbal and written—is essential, along with a demonstrated interest in business and leadership potential.
A Track Record of Excellence
Since its establishment, the Dubai Business Associates programme has produced a remarkable alumni network of 313 graduates from 53 nations. These alumni have successfully completed 92 consulting projects for over 30 public and private sector entities, contributing an estimated $23 million in value to the sponsoring organizations.
