Dubai Police Introduces Interactive Platform at Global Village

Dubai Police has unveiled an innovative interactive platform at the vibrant Global Village, enriching visitors’ understanding of the growing array of smart and digital services aimed at bolstering public safety. This initiative marks a significant step forward in making police services more approachable and efficient for the community.

A Diverse Range of Services

This engaging showcase features a variety of essential services including smart vehicle impoundment, neighborhood policing initiatives, home security solutions, and lost-and-found reporting. Additionally, the platform provides support for cybercrime, services aimed at protecting women and children, as well as tools for inquiries and follow-ups. Notably, users can also access important information such as circulars, travel-ban checks, and reach out to the 901 call center and the 04 platform.

The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance accessibility and streamline the process for individuals seeking police assistance. By simplifying these interactions, Dubai Police aims to make community engagement more effective while ensuring that help is just a step away.

Strengthening Community Connections

Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, who serves as Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Security Affairs, emphasized the importance of this initiative in maintaining a strong connection with the community. Being present at popular locations enables the police to engage directly with residents, citizens, and tourists, allowing them to better understand public expectations. This proactive approach also reinforces Dubai’s image as a safe and welcoming destination.

Al Shamsi highlighted that this presence at major public venues is part of a broader strategy to raise awareness about security and showcase the smart tools available to everyone. This not only enhances community trust but also provides reassurance to individuals frequenting these spaces.

Available Until Midnight

The interactive platform at Global Village will be open to the public for a month, with plans for extended participation in future seasons of this popular destination. Visitors can easily find the platform located near the Global Village theatre, operating daily from 4 PM until midnight. This timeframe allows ample opportunities for individuals to explore the services on offer and engage with the Dubai Police.

Through these efforts, Dubai Police is not just showcasing technology, but also demonstrating a commitment to public service, community engagement, and safety. By integrating advanced solutions with genuine human interaction, the force reinforces its dedication to the well-being of all those in the city.
