Terrence J and Mikalah Sultan Tie the Knot in Dubai

Terrence J, the former host of 106 & Park, and model Mikalah Sultan have officially entered into matrimony. According to PEOPLE, the couple celebrated their union at the stunning Atlantis The Royal resort in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday, November 11.

A Star-Studded Celebration

The wedding atmosphere brimmed with excitement as approximately 130 guests, including friends, family, and fellow celebrities, gathered to witness the nuptials. Notably, Anthony Anderson, a star from the hit show Black-ish, officiated the ceremony, bringing a personal touch to the event.

Mikalah expressed her joy about the occasion, stating, “This wedding is a dream come true. Just being able to get everyone we love in the same room to celebrate the deep love and connection TJ and I have is beyond fulfilling.”

The Wedding Planning Experience

Terrence J likened the wedding planning process to organizing “a big field trip,” given that guests traveled from various corners of the world to be part of the festivities. He mentioned, “We’re bringing cultures together, creatives together, and it’s a beautiful thing to experience.” This sentiment highlights the couple’s dedication to not just their love, but also the connections formed through this shared experience.

A Weekend of Unforgettable Events

The couple’s wedding weekend was anything but ordinary. Festivities included a luxurious yacht party, an adventurous desert safari dinner, and an elegant all-white beach party held at Cove Beach. Mikalah noted, “Bringing our loved ones on an experience they’ve never been on was important to us.” Such elaborate celebrations underscored their desire to create lasting memories with their nearest and dearest.

Their Journey Together

Terrence and Mikalah’s love story began in Manchester, England, where they first met. The couple became engaged in December 2023 during a romantic moment at the Perez Art Museum in Miami, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.

Ceremonial Traditions and Personal Vows

During the ceremony, Mikalah made her entrance to the melodious strains of Elvis Presley’s classic song “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The event was deeply personal, as the couple also took the time to honor their late family members. Both Terrence and Mikalah exchanged heartfelt, handwritten vows, adding a layer of intimacy to their ceremony.

Reflecting on what marriage signifies to him, Terrence shared, “To me, marriage means choosing your best friend every day. Building a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.” This encapsulates the essence of their relationship and the commitments they made to one another.
