In addition to mediation and representation, the Department managed 291 requests for legal support in 2025, covering areas such as legislative assistance, legal advisory services, and formal legal opinions. The drafting and reviewing of 689 contracts and agreements marked a year-on-year increase of over 5%, with a total value exceeding AED54 billion. Advancements in Mediation Training
The report also highlights the Mediation Training Project, which focuses on civil and commercial disputes. In 2025, the Department launched four new cycles of the Accredited Mediators Programme, certified by the International Institute for the Resolution of Civil and Commercial Disputes. A total of 82 participants completed the program, representing a 9.3% increase from the previous year, with more than 80% of the trainees being government employees.
