Walmart Unveils Black Friday 2025 Sale Schedule
Walmart has officially announced its Black Friday 2025 schedule, highlighting a strategic blend of in-store promotions and a significant online presence. With this announcement, the retail giant sets the stage for the holiday shopping season, aiming to provide shoppers with impressive discounts and extended access, particularly for Walmart+ members.
Exclusive Early Access for Walmart+ Members
Once again, Walmart+ members will enjoy a significant advantage this holiday season. They will receive five hours of early access to all Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, catering to those eager to take advantage of limited-stock items, especially electronics and toys. In their press release, Walmart emphasized their commitment to ensuring members secure the best deals first.
The initial sale event will take place from November 14 to 16, 2025, with Walmart+ members gaining online access starting November 13 at 7 PM ET. Following this, a second event is scheduled from November 25 to 27 for online shoppers and from November 28 to 30 for in-store sales, providing early member access on November 24 at 7 PM ET. To round out the holiday shopping experience, a Cyber Monday sale will go live on December 1, with early access beginning November 30 for Walmart+ members.
Exciting Deals on the Horizon
While Walmart is keeping its full Black Friday advertisement under wraps, the company has offered a preview of some standout discounts that are expected to attract both in-store foot traffic and online shoppers. Key deals expected include:
- 98” TCL QLED 4K TV for $998, reduced from $1,798
- Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum Cleaner at $399.99, down from $729
- Barbie Malibu Travel Playset priced at $12, slashed from $21.88
- Cricut Explore 3 Bundle available for $197.99, a drop from $410
- Goodyear Reliant All-Season Tires, with $30 off per tire
- Levi’s Signature Denim offered at $15, previously $24.98
These deals highlight Walmart’s competitive pricing strategy, particularly in electronics and popular toys, which are expected to be hot commodities this season.
Walmart’s Competitive Stance Against Rivals
Market analysts note that Walmart’s phased approach to Black Friday closely mirrors strategies employed by rivals such as Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, and Best Buy. Many of these competitors have transitioned to multi-week, digitally-focused Black Friday campaigns. For instance, Costco has introduced a comprehensive 32-page deal booklet, while both Amazon and Best Buy are hosting weekly doorbuster promotions with early access for members, resembling Walmart’s approach.
Experts forecast that early Black Friday events could account for nearly half of the total holiday e-commerce revenue this year. By leveraging the benefits of Walmart+ memberships alongside competitive pricing, Walmart is positioning itself to lead the pack during the 2025 holiday shopping frenzy, particularly appealing to budget-conscious and tech-savvy consumers.
