Successful Engagement at DSA 2026

The United Arab Emirates National Pavilion concluded its participation in the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) 2026 with notable success, attracting 6,645 visitors over four days at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. This event highlighted the UAE’s advanced defence capabilities and underscored its commitment to international defence cooperation.

Organised by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of Modon, and supported by the UAE Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, the pavilion served as a significant platform for fostering cross-border partnerships within the global defence sector.

High-Profile Visitors and Delegations

On the final day of the event, the pavilion welcomed over 1,400 visitors, including senior government officials and military leaders. Among the distinguished guests were His Royal Highness Raja Ja’afar ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa, Crown Prince of Perak; His Excellency Mubarak Saeed Ahmed Burshaid Aldhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Malaysia; His Excellency Sheikh Abbas bin Ibrahim Al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to Malaysia; and Major General Tawfik Mokhtar, Egypt’s Minister of Interior.

Throughout the exhibition, the pavilion hosted high-level delegations from 21 countries, including representatives from Malaysia, the United States, Oman, Australia, Egypt, and Fiji. This diverse participation reinforced the UAE’s position as a leader in defence innovation and strategic dialogue.

Strategic Meetings and Collaborations

The final day of the exhibition featured 49 high-impact meetings between Emirati defence companies and senior representatives from international organisations. These discussions focused on exploring collaboration and long-term partnership opportunities. Over the course of the event, a total of 285 meetings were held, setting a new standard for strategic engagement and solidifying the UAE’s reputation as a trusted partner in regional and global defence markets.

Leading Emirati defence and security companies, such as EDGE Group, Calidus, Resource Industries, and ASIS Boats, showcased their latest innovations in areas including unmanned systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, aerial and land systems, and maritime defence. The sustained interest from visiting delegations positioned the UAE as a centre of excellence in next-generation defence manufacturing and technology development.

The UAE National Pavilion served as a vital gateway for the global defence community, enabling engagement with leading Emirati companies and their innovative solutions.
