In accordance with directives from UAE leadership, celebrations took place from January 29 to February 4, 2026, throughout all emirates, themed “UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever.” This week-long program symbolized the UAE’s appreciation for Kuwait and reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties that connect the two nations. Various events showcased cultural solidarity, highlighting the enduring friendship between Emiratis and Kuwaitis.

Kuwait remains a key trading partner for the UAE. In fact, the UAE stands as Kuwait’s second-largest trading partner globally and its foremost Arab and Gulf partner, responsible for nearly 20 percent of Kuwait’s non-oil exports.

Tourism plays a pivotal role in enhancing both economic and social connections. In 2025, the number of Kuwaiti visitors to the UAE surged to 400,000, reflecting a nearly 6 percent increase from 2024.
