International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience 2026 Concludes in Abu Dhabi, Attracting Over 37,000 Visitors and 253 Exhibitors
Abu Dhabi hosted the ninth edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026), which took place under the patronage of Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The event, held from May 20 to May 22, welcomed over 37,434 visitors from around the globe, marking a 49% increase in attendance compared to the previous edition in 2024.
A Platform for Global Cooperation
The exhibition featured more than 253 exhibitors from 37 countries, with national companies representing 60% of the total. This year’s event showcased innovations across eight critical sectors, reinforcing ISNR’s status as a leading global platform for national security and resilience. The event was organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, under the theme “Securing Tomorrow Today.”
His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of ISNR 2026, emphasized the UAE’s commitment to international security. He noted that the exhibition successfully brought together industry leaders and experts to address pressing global challenges, reflecting the UAE’s leadership in adopting advanced technologies for smarter and more resilient security systems.
New Initiatives and Features
ISNR 2026 introduced several new initiatives aimed at enhancing the experience for both visitors and exhibitors. Among these was the inaugural Abu Dhabi Global Summit for Sustainable Security, organized in collaboration with Rabdan Academy. This summit attracted over 2,000 participants from 15 countries, featuring more than 60 speakers across various workshops and panel discussions.
The event also included the AI Security Forum, which explored the transformative role of artificial intelligence in national security. Discussions focused on AI applications in sectors such as energy, smart cities, and transportation, highlighting their potential to predict and respond to risks effectively.
Engaging Competitions and Hackathons
The ISNR Fitness Competition concluded successfully, featuring 355 participants from various sectors, including government and private entities. The competition showcased physical abilities and teamwork through rigorous challenges, divided into two categories: Civil Defence and Community.
Additionally, the Code Breaker Hackathon provided participants with a realistic simulation of cybersecurity challenges. Participants engaged in vulnerability analysis and countered cyberattacks, gaining hands-on experience in addressing real-world cybersecurity issues.
Community and Family Safety Discussions
The final day of ISNR 2026 included discussions at the MOI Talks, focusing on digital security for families. The session emphasized the integration of modern technologies with human interaction to enhance community safety. It highlighted the importance of employing smart visual consultation systems to ensure efficient handling of community-related cases.
The discussions also underscored the role of families in enhancing digital safety, particularly in protecting children from cyber threats. The session addressed the exploitation of personal data and the impact of electronic device addiction on family relationships. It called for active engagement with authorities to tackle cybercrimes, ensuring confidentiality in reporting.
Future Prospects
The International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience 2026 has established itself as a pivotal platform for innovation and collaboration in national security. The next edition is scheduled for April 4 to 6, 2028, promising to build on the successes of this year’s event.
