OSAKA, JAPAN – In a thrilling fusion of creativity and culture, Science Now, a strategic design studio celebrated for its innovative approaches in science and culture, has teamed up with the talented Juice studio, known for its visual effects and animation work with global brands like Netflix, Porsche, and Sony. Together, they are set to shape Poland’s presentation at the highly anticipated Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai in Japan.

This collaboration extends Poland’s initiative to showcase its rich heritage and forward-thinking endeavors on a global stage. The consortium has been commissioned to craft an impressive multimedia storytelling package that will serve both the Poland Pavilion and a broader communication campaign aimed at engaging international audiences.
World Expos are monumental cultural and economic platforms held every five years, attracting millions of visitors over their six-month duration. Poland’s engagement in the 2025 expo—titled “Poland. Heritage that Drives the Future”—is orchestrated by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
Commenting on the project, Jan Pomierny, Co-Founder and CEO of Science Now, expressed, “Working on content for Expo 2025 is both a creative challenge and a great honor. It’s a unique opportunity to translate Poland’s multidimensional heritage into a universal language of storytelling, design, and technology.”
Maciek Gołębiowski, head of production at Juice, added, “Thanks to our Tokyo branch, we were able to bridge local insight with international creative standards, ensuring the experience resonates with both Japanese and global audiences.”
As part of their artistic mission, Science Now and Juice are tasked with not just the visualization but the entire narrative of the Polish Pavilion, including:
- A series of documentary-style short films that will spotlight Poland’s innovative presence at the Expo.
- Bespoke animations that promise to deliver a multisensory experience, co-created with acclaimed Polish illustrators like Monika Hanulak, Patrycja Podkościelny, and Kasia Walentynowicz.
- Animated stories drawing inspiration from the Polish School of Animation, highlighting the various regions of Poland through the lens of the great composer, Fryderyk Chopin.
- Interactive presentations positioned within the Pavilion’s exhibition that underline key sectors of the Polish economy and their significance to the Japanese market.
The architectural vision for the Poland Pavilion has been crafted by Alicja Kubicka and Borja Martínez from Interplay Architects. The exhibition’s permanent display is being curated by a team of experts including Monika Brauntsch (KAFTI), Ewa Kierklo and Stanisław Kempa (GDYBY), and Wiesław Bartkowski. A number of other artists, including Variable Studio, IP Group, and Urszula Zajączkowska, are also contributing their artworks and experiences to this ambitious project.

The collaboration of Juice and Science Now ensures an engaging visual narrative that captures Poland’s rich cultural heritage, innovative spirit, and creativity, aiming to translate these elements into an unforgettable experience for millions of visitors at the Expo.
