Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah has received a six-month driving ban in England following a speeding incident involving a Rolls-Royce registered in his name. The vehicle, valued at over €466,000, was caught exceeding the speed limit by a speed camera in March 2026, as reported by Emirates247.
According to the report, Salah, 34, failed to identify the driver of the vehicle when requested by the police. In August, a court in Warrington, Cheshire, convicted him in his absence for this offence, resulting in the six-month driving disqualification and a fine of €769.
The speeding incident occurred in the Wilmslow area of Cheshire, just two days after Salah announced his departure from Liverpool. Notably, he did not respond to two notices sent to his residence, which is valued at more than €5 million.
This is not the first time Salah has encountered issues related to driving. In 2022, he was fined for speeding while driving his Ferrari F8 Tributo and received three penalty points on his driving licence. Additionally, in 2018, he was photographed using a mobile phone while driving near Anfield.
