Introduction to Intersec 2026

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, inaugurated the 27th edition of Intersec 2026 today at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Renowned as the world’s foremost exhibition for security, safety, and fire protection, this year’s event will run until January 14.

A Massive Gathering of Industry Leaders

Intersec 2026 boasts an impressive assembly of over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 60 countries. The exhibition anticipates attracting over 50,000 visitors from around the globe. Covering an extensive area of approximately 65,000 square meters, this year’s showcase emphasizes the global participation in the security sector.

The event features a well-rounded agenda that includes conferences and workshops with contributions from more than 250 experts and keynote speakers, underscoring the event’s significance in the industry.

During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor was accompanied by several dignitaries, including:

  • Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi: Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Civil Defense

During his tour, Sheikh Mansoor explored a variety of advanced solutions presented by both national and international companies. He visited several prominent pavilions including:

  • LINEV Systems
  • SIRA
  • Axis Communications

These visits allowed him to gain insights into initiatives aimed at improving and regulating the security sector.

Among the notable companies he toured were Motorola Solutions and NAFFCO, where he examined technologies that enhance security, safety, and emergency response capabilities. His visit to the General Command of Dubai Civil Defense also highlighted innovations such as the upgraded ‘Shark’ Drone designed for aerial firefighting, various specialized response vehicles, and robotic systems that support high-risk operations.
