The Juventus Academy project is not just another sports initiative; it represents a transformative journey in youth football that has garnered immense recognition on the international stage. The Academy’s remarkable growth trajectory continued this year as it clinched the Silver Medal for Best Youth Sports Program at the SPIA Awards 2025 in Abu Dhabi. This ceremony, known for honoring excellence within the sports industry across the Middle East, saw Juventus Academy Dubai & Sharjah shine among a diverse crowd of over 500 sports leaders, organizations, and decision-makers.
What makes this award even more special is the fact that Juventus Academy was the only football program to feature on the podium. This distinction highlights its significant impact and leadership in nurturing young talent. The recognition at SPIA 2025 is part of a larger tapestry of achievements, which includes multiple accolades such as the Best Youth Sports Organization in the Middle East in both 2024 and 2019, along with a commendable second place finish in 2023.
2025 marks a milestone year for the Academy, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. Since its inception in 2015, Juventus Academy Dubai & Sharjah has witnessed exponential growth, developing into a beloved hub for young football enthusiasts. With a dedicated team of qualified coaches, the Academy trains over 1,500 players aged 4 to 17 each year, teaching them not just the game, but also the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, all following the globally recognized Juventus methodology.
As the Academy looks to the future, exciting plans are underway. FFG Sports Management, Juventus’s longstanding partner in the UAE, is set to extend its agreement with the Academy for an additional five years. This partnership reaffirms the commitment to shaping a new generation of football talent, ensuring a legacy of excellence, ambition, and growth for years to come. The official announcement will be made during the upcoming Juventus Academy World Cup, scheduled for June 9–13, 2025, which promises to be a landmark event in the Academy’s history.
