Dubai Parks and Resorts Transformed Into a Smart Resort with Omnico Integrated POS

Date:

This year’s Expo is set to take place in sunny Orlando from November 17 to 21, with the show floor officially open to attendees from November 18 to 21. It’s an exciting time for the family entertainment and amusement industries, spotlighting the latest innovations and advancements designed to enhance operations and guest experiences.

One of the most noteworthy highlights at this year’s event is Embed’s continued evolution and expansion of its revolutionary Embed Ecosystem. Following a highly successful launch at the Amusement Expo International (AEI) and recognition as the AAMA Supplier of the Year, Embed is clearly marking a new era in integrated cashless payment systems. These systems are crafted to seamlessly connect various facets of entertainment centers — from guests and staff to operations, bookings, payments, sales, and detailed reporting.

Since its debut, the Embed Ecosystem has been evolving consistently through six-week update cycles, introducing new features that keep operators at the forefront of technology. Just in time for the IAAPA Expo, Embed is rolling out significant upgrades to its BOOKINGS system, which will now fully integrate with KIOSK+ and SALES in a single, streamlined Point of Sale (POS) platform. This integration is designed to boost walk-in traffic and impulse purchases by enabling sales capture anytime and anywhere within the venue.

Visitors will benefit from flexible new booking configurations tailored to different needs. The “Single session” ticketing option allows for straightforward reservation management, reserving a specific time or option that blocks availability once booked. The “General admission” ticket type offers greater freedom for guests to visit, while simultaneously streamlining staff scheduling and boosting profitability for operators. A third option, “General admission + play privilege,” adds Embed media to general admission tickets and allows for easy top-ups or additions to game cards or wearables at a KIOSK+ station.

Embed is also enhancing the ease and safety of visitor entry with improved WAIVERS. These can be customized and integrated directly into the booking process, enabling guests to electronically sign waivers from their email or mobile devices. Not only does this speed up the entry process, but it also protects patrons and businesses from potential incidents. Furthermore, the waiver data provides valuable insights to operators, helping them craft more meaningful and personalized visitor experiences.

Mobility and flexibility are enhanced with the introduction of the new ROAMING POS system. This feature lets staff reload game cards, upsell bundles, handle food and beverage orders, and manage party reservations from anywhere within the family entertainment center — all from a single tablet. Complementing this is Embed’s robust REPORTS and analytics module, which transforms raw data into actionable insights through tailored visualizations, giving operators outstanding visibility into all aspects of their business.

Another exciting update on the horizon is the addition of e-commerce bookings within the BOOKINGS platform. This will empower visitors to reserve their spots anytime and anywhere, creating a smoother, more convenient experience while driving increased sales and higher attraction bookings for operators.

Embed’s CEO, Renee Welsh, sums it up perfectly, stating, “From front-of-house to back-office, Embed powers a seamless, revenue-driven ecosystem—exactly how operators like it.” CTO Andy Welsh highlights how the latest enhancements bring BOOKINGS, WAIVERS, SALES, and REPORTS together in one simplified, cost-effective solution. This unified platform eliminates the need for multiple software providers or costly additional platforms, making it truly an end-to-end experience.

Visitors interested in exploring the full capabilities of the Embed Ecosystem can book a demo at booth #1040 during the IAAPA Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The show floor operates from November 18 to 21.

Demonstrating its commitment to growth and innovation, Embed has recently partnered with Windcave, a global payment platform. This strategic collaboration expands Embed’s reach into the unattended payments market, reflecting its dedication to supporting family entertainment centers of all sizes with cutting-edge payment solutions.
