Dubai Chambers Launches New Office in New York City

In a significant development for business relations, Dubai Chambers has established its first representative office in the United States. This strategic move was announced at the Dubai Business Forum – USA, which convened an impressive lineup of around 700 senior executives and officials from various sectors.

A Milestone Delegation

This event marked an extraordinary turnout, featuring Dubai Chambers’ largest overseas delegation to date. More than 80 leaders from both public and private sectors made the trip from the emirate, highlighting the importance of this initiative and the commitment of Dubai’s business community to international expansion.

Connecting Markets: Dubai and the US

The newly opened office seeks to enhance the global footprint of Dubai International Chamber. It aims to facilitate US companies looking to make their mark in Dubai, while also supporting firms based in Dubai as they explore the American market. This initiative underscores Dubai’s ambition to be a pivotal hub for business and innovation on a global scale, reinforcing its role in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which outlines strategic goals for future growth.

Highlights from the Forum

Discussions during the forum brought to light the competitive advantages that Dubai offers as a business destination. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, spoke on the strengthening ties between Dubai and the United States, emphasizing the importance of fostering collaboration between these two markets.

Impressive Trade Statistics

According to Al Mansoori, the United States has secured its position as the fourth-largest trading partner for Dubai as of 2024. The non-oil trade between the two regions surpassed AED 116 billion, marking a growth of 10 percent annually. Such figures underline the robust economic ties that are continually evolving.

US Firms Thriving in Dubai

In a further testament to this growing relationship, Al Mansoori noted that nearly 800 new US companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce within the first nine months of 2025. This brings the total number of US firms in Dubai to almost 3,700, reflecting a strong and sustained interest in the region.

Foreign Investment Trends

Over the past decade, US foreign direct investment (FDI) in Dubai has approached AED 80 billion. Notably, the United States topped the charts for FDI inflows into Dubai during the first half of 2025, showcasing the enduring appeal of the emirate as a prime location for investment.
