Dubai Launches ‘Al Freej Gardener’ Platform to Strengthen Access to Licensed Gardening Professionals

The ‘Al Freej Gardener’ initiative will enable residents to connect with qualified and licensed gardening professionals through a regulated digital platform. This service is set to launch via the Careem app in September. The platform is designed to improve service quality and enhance the security and aesthetics of residential neighborhoods.
By providing access to reliable gardening services and agricultural guidance based on sustainable practices, the initiative aims to support the quality and sustainability of green spaces across Dubai. It will facilitate requests for gardening services through specialized agricultural maintenance companies that offer tailored service packages. The launch of the initiative was marked by the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, attended by key officials including Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai; and Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality.
