Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Company has forged a significant partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Holding, aiming to elevate the lifestyle and retail landscape in the Kingdom. This collaboration is set to introduce a VOX Cinemas multiplex alongside a selection of seven premier retail brands at Diriyah Square, a key lifestyle and entertainment hub within the expansive Diriyah development.
A New Era for Diriyah Square
With this agreement, Majid Al Futtaim becomes the first major lifestyle and entertainment partner at Diriyah Square. This partnership marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing transformation of the area, which is designed to be a vibrant destination for both residents and visitors.
Exciting Retail Lineup
The new retail offerings will feature a mix of globally recognized brands, including:
- Lululemon
- Crate & Barrel
- Abercrombie & Fitch
- AllSaints
- CB2
- Hollister
Additionally, the partnership will introduce the first standalone store in Saudi Arabia for the renowned Japanese beauty brand, Shiseido. This diverse lineup promises to enhance the shopping experience at Diriyah Square.
Expansive Footprint
The lifestyle retail outlets will encompass approximately 5,534.48 square meters, while the VOX Cinemas complex will cover around 7,632.93 square meters. Together, these developments will create a combined area of 13,167.41 square meters dedicated to retail and entertainment.

The signing ceremony took place at the Diriyah Company headquarters, attended by key leaders from both organizations. Jerry Inzerillo, Group Chief Executive Officer of Diriyah Company, and Ahmed Galal Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Holding, were instrumental in formalizing this partnership.

The Future of Diriyah Square
Diriyah Square is designed as a pedestrian-centric area that connects top global brands with authentic Saudi luxury concepts. Upon completion, it will feature over 400 retail brands, luxury boutiques, and dining options, positioning it as a landmark in Riyadh’s evolving cultural landscape.
This announcement follows a recent $600 million (SR2.249 billion) construction contract awarded to Salini Saudi Arabia for the development of Diriyah Square. This project will be situated above one of the world’s largest underground parking facilities, accommodating more than 10,500 vehicles.
The broader Diriyah development is one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious giga-projects, projected to contribute approximately $18.6 billion (SR70 billion) to the Kingdom’s GDP and create nearly 180,000 jobs. Once completed, Diriyah is expected to house around 100,000 residents, serving as a global symbol of Saudi heritage and modern living.
