Taraf, the real estate division of Yas Holding, has partnered with Marriott International to unveil the JW Marriott Residences on Yas Island, a new residential development that promises to blend luxury living with the natural beauty of its surroundings. This project, strategically located between the Arabian Gulf and a golf course, aims to enhance the residential experience on Yas Island, which is known for its vibrant leisure and entertainment offerings.

Set directly on the beach, the JW Marriott Residences will provide residents with access to a range of amenities and attractions, including Yas Marina, Yas Mall, and the Yas Marina Circuit. The development is approximately 15 minutes from Zayed International Airport and 30 minutes from central Abu Dhabi, making it a convenient location for both residents and visitors.

The architectural design of the residences draws inspiration from Abu Dhabi’s natural landscape and heritage, incorporating elements that promote wellbeing and a connection to nature. The project aims to create serene living spaces that reflect JW Marriott’s commitment to architectural excellence and thoughtful design. According to Low Ping, Group CEO of Yas Holding, the goal is to integrate JW Marriott’s philosophy throughout the project, ensuring a distinctive residential experience that emphasizes light, nature, and community.

A comprehensive suite of amenities will be available to residents, including a lounge, fitness center, steam and sauna facilities, treatment spaces, and a golf simulator. These features are designed to foster a sense of community and support a healthy lifestyle, aligning with the overall vision for the development.

Jaidev Menezes, Regional Vice President – Mixed-Use Development, EMEA at Marriott International, highlighted that this project marks the second collaboration between Taraf and Marriott, following the success of the W Residences Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island. He noted that the JW Marriott Residences will offer a lifestyle enriched by curated amenities and genuine service, extending the brand’s hospitality ethos into everyday living.

Cem Habib, a Board Member at Steppe Capital, emphasized the unique setting of the residences, which combines the stunning waterfront views with the lush green fairways of the golf course, creating an exceptional environment for residential living.

This development is poised to contribute significantly to the residential landscape of Yas Island, enhancing its appeal as a premier destination for both living and leisure.
