Samana Developers launches premium brand Collecta with flagship project at The World Islands

Published:

Samana Developers has officially launched its new premium real estate brand, Samana Collecta, with its inaugural project set for The World Islands in Dubai. This flagship development, boasting a gross development value exceeding $1.1 billion, aims to redefine waterfront living by offering a curated portfolio of residential projects designed for year-round occupancy.

Samana Collecta represents a strategic shift for the developer, focusing on lifestyle-oriented developments that prioritize distinctive locations and contemporary design. The brand’s philosophy, described as ‘life first,’ emphasizes selecting destinations based on the lifestyle opportunities they provide, rather than location alone. The company plans to establish its presence in Dubai before expanding into international markets.

Flagship Project Details

The World Islands project will feature 840 branded residences, alongside seven floating villas and two tree villas. This initiative aims to transform the island into a viable residential community, moving beyond its traditional role as a leisure destination. Samana Developers CEO Imran Farooq highlighted the importance of making island living practical for permanent residents, stating, “The opportunity now is to make island living work for everyday life.”

The development is designed to cater to the needs of full-time residents, integrating privacy and waterfront access with amenities typically found in established residential communities. Planned facilities include multiple beaches, a lagoon, swimming pools, a beach club, and co-working spaces, all intended to support a modern lifestyle.

Connectivity and Amenities

To enhance connectivity with mainland Dubai, the project will feature regular yacht shuttle services operating at 30-minute intervals. This transport solution aims to facilitate easy access for residents and visitors alike. Additionally, the development will include essential services and retail options, ensuring that residents have access to everyday needs.

Dining options will also play a significant role, with plans for several restaurant concepts, including a signature floating Italian restaurant developed in collaboration with a Michelin-recognized culinary partner. This focus on high-quality dining experiences aligns with the brand’s commitment to providing a luxurious lifestyle.

Future Aspirations

Farooq expressed ambitions for Samana Collecta that extend beyond its first project, indicating that Dubai will serve as a launchpad for the brand’s expansion into international markets. The developer aims to create a distinctive identity within the premium property sector, emphasizing branded living and unique residential experiences tailored to evolving lifestyle expectations.

As Samana Collecta embarks on this new chapter, it seeks to redefine the concept of island living, making it a practical and desirable choice for residents in Dubai. The project is poised to set a new standard for luxury waterfront developments in the region.

According to ME Construction News, the identity of the Italian luxury brand collaborating on the project will be announced separately, further enhancing the appeal of this ambitious development.
