Among the key agreements was a service contract between the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and e& to launch AI-enabled drone services. This technology will facilitate real-time traffic monitoring and urban management, allowing for quicker responses to issues and enhanced oversight of construction projects.
DMT’s Strategic Initiatives
On the final day of LIVEX 2026, themed ‘The Committed City’, DMT also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TACTICA AI to explore AI-driven solutions for urban challenges. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to leverage technology in improving urban living conditions.
Partnerships in Smart Mobility
In the realm of smart mobility, Q Mobility, Etihad Rail, and Parkin established a strategic partnership to develop smart vehicle parking solutions at passenger stations. Additionally, Abu Dhabi Transport Company (ADT) and Urbanloop signed an MoU to collaborate on advanced urban mobility solutions, including autonomous and AI-enabled systems.
In the real estate sector, the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) partnered with Think Prop, DGE (Mawaheb), and ADSM to focus on professional training and licensing, further enhancing the sector’s capabilities.
Infrastructure Developments
Infrastructure initiatives were also prominent, with Terra Group and Future Tech signing an MoU for sustainable infrastructure and IoT projects. The Ministry of Economy & Tourism and Abu Dhabi Customs agreed on joint cooperation for information exchange and digital integration.
