The inaugural Al Ain Future Business Forum concluded with the signing of eleven agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at enhancing economic development in the region. The event, held at the ADNEC Centre in Al Ain, brought together various government entities, investors, and businesses to foster investment, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Organised by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, the two-day forum highlighted opportunities across multiple sectors, including infrastructure, tourism, finance, technology, industry, trade, and logistics. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, stated that the focus moving forward will be on developing local talent, attracting further investment, and creating additional business opportunities in Al Ain. The forum also showcased upcoming projects and procurement opportunities specifically for startups and small to medium-sized enterprises.
Discussions at the forum included Al Ain’s role in Abu Dhabi’s evolving economic clusters, which encompass areas such as agri-food, water management, autonomous vehicles, life sciences, and financial technology.
