A standout feature of this remarkable year was the unprecedented sales achieved over ten months. December emerged as the highlight, with sales soaring to Dhs922.77 million ($252.81 million) in just that month. This figure is notable as it sets a record for the highest monthly sales ever recorded, reflecting a 12.27% year-on-year increase.
Anniversary Promotions Boost Sales
The impressive performance in December was significantly bolstered by Dubai Duty Free’s 42nd anniversary celebration on December 20. The retailer offered a 25% discount promotion, generating Dhs69.097 million ($19 million) in sales within a single day. This strategic move not only attracted more customers but also showcased the brand’s commitment to engage its clientele effectively.
