One of the prominent names in advanced technology and defense, EDGE, is set to reveal an impressive 42 new products and solutions at the upcoming Dubai Airshow 2025. This bold launch underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and will mark a significant milestone in its history.

The new lineup encompasses a wide array of technologies, including autonomous systems, smart weapons, cutting-edge propulsion systems, space technologies, advanced radar systems, and secure communications solutions. Hamad Al Marar, the Managing Director and CEO of EDGE Group, shared insight into the company’s journey. He remarked, “The Dubai Airshow has been crucial to EDGE’s narrative. Our story began here in 2019, and this year’s exhibition illustrates our remarkable progress. From a vision to a global force, we are now unveiling 42 products in a single day and over 250 in total.”

Among the notable innovations is the Omen, an advanced autonomous air vehicle (AAV) resulting from the newly formed EDGE-Anduril Production Alliance. Designed to offer flexibility, endurance, and substantial payloads, this aircraft can operate without a runway, positioning EDGE at the forefront of aviation technology.

Versatile UAV Solutions

The JERNAS-M stands out as a compact medium altitude, long endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) focused on persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. It aims to bolster situational awareness and enhance decision-making processes. Additionally, the VORTEX-E offers precise counter-drone capabilities, while the rugged STRIKE system serves as a fixed-wing weapon carrier to extend operational reach during medium-altitude missions.

Innovations in Smart Weapons and Propulsion

In a bid to introduce more disruptive technologies, EDGE has rolled out a suite of smart weaponry, particularly the WSM-1, a long-range cruise strike option featuring resilient navigation and AI-assisted terminal retargeting.

Another significant product is the DARKWING, a modular autonomous strike system offering interchangeable seekers and payloads for efficient mission reconfiguration. The THUNDER-ER is designed to transform legacy aerial munitions into smart standoff weapons while optimizing costs and operational efficiency.

To support this wave of innovations, EDGE has expanded its propulsion capabilities, now incorporating air-breathing piston engines, turbines, microjets, and a range of rocket motors. These advancements cater to UAVs, loitering munitions, and missile platforms, thus fortifying EDGE’s position in the defense sector.

Advancing Space Operations and Sensor Technologies

Building on its presence in the space domain, EDGE introduces ZENITH, a sovereign platform facilitating space operations and data orchestration. This initiative allows for unified access to multi-sensor data and imagery, ensuring mission teams have a comprehensive operational picture in real time.

In the realm of sensors and electronic warfare, EDGE is advancing its radar and intelligence systems. The AL HARRIS X represents a next-gen AESA radar designed for short-range air defense and counter-drone operations, utilizing AI to enhance protection for borders and critical assets. Complementing this is the AMES P, an airborne reconnaissance pod capable of high-precision signal detection and real-time geolocation.

Enhancing Secure Communications

EDGE has recently launched the KATIM GATEWAY X9000M, a compact network encryptor that elevates secure mobility. This state-of-the-art device delivers government-grade encryption in a portable format, reinforcing EDGE’s secure communications portfolio and capabilities in data protection.

Since its initial presentation at the Dubai Airshow in 2019, where it debuted 30 products, EDGE has significantly expanded its offerings, now showcasing 250 products at this year’s event.
