15 Scale-Ups Selected from 1,400 Global Applicants for Dubai Holding’s Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator

Dubai Holding Announces Selected Scale-Ups

Dubai Holding, a prominent global investment company with a diverse portfolio spanning over 30 countries, has unveiled the 15 innovative scale-ups chosen for its Innovate For Tomorrow global impact accelerator. This flagship program, in collaboration with TECOM Group PJSC’s entrepreneurship incubator, in5, aims to foster innovation in resource consumption, production, and regeneration, facilitating a transition towards a more sustainable circular economy.

The accelerator, now in its second iteration, emphasizes circular economy innovations across Dubai Holding’s core business sectors. It focuses on three critical sub-themes: food loss and waste, resource recovery and regeneration, and digital innovation for sustainability.

Rigorous Selection Process

The selection process for the scale-ups was highly competitive, with over 1,400 applications submitted from 93 countries. A panel of experts from Dubai Holding and various industries meticulously evaluated these submissions. The selected entrepreneurs will vie for a prize pool of AED 850,000, with the winning scale-up receiving pilot funding and a pivotal proof-of-concept opportunity within Dubai Holding’s extensive portfolio.

Accelerator Program Details

The selected scale-ups have completed a 12-week hybrid accelerator program from January to April 2026. This program provided them with dedicated mentorship from industry leaders, including representatives from Dubai Holding. Participants also benefited from exclusive masterclasses and workshops, designed to refine their business models and expedite their market entry, along with access to investor networks.

The evaluation criteria for applicants included problem relevance, impact potential, innovation and differentiation, customer and market validation, scalability, and market fit within the UAE. This comprehensive framework allowed Dubai Holding to identify scale-ups that are well-positioned for growth.

Commitment to Sustainable Development

The Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator is powered by in5’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and developed in partnership with execution partner BOLT. This initiative aligns with Dubai Holding’s philanthropic mission to empower communities and enterprises in driving sustainable development. It also supports the UAE Circular Economy Policy 2031, the UAE Net Zero by 2050 strategic initiative, and the UAE Centennial 2071 vision.

The program will culminate in a high-profile Demo Day scheduled for June 2026, where the top five scale-ups will present their innovations to investors, partners, and industry leaders.
