ROX Unveils AI-Driven Industrial Ecosystem, Targets 300,000-Unit Capacity to Support UAE’s Operation 300Bn

Abu Dhabi: ROX has announced its AI-driven industrial ecosystem strategy during the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2026 event, reinforcing its commitment to the “Made in the Emirates, Made for the World” initiative. This strategy aims to bolster the UAE’s aspirations to become a global hub for advanced manufacturing and export.

ROX is entering this new phase with a robust performance in the luxury new energy vehicle sector. The company has successfully delivered over 5,000 vehicles in the UAE and more than 20,000 across the MENA region. In the UAE’s luxury all-terrain SUV market, where vehicles exceed USD 80,000, ROX ranks among the top three brands, capturing over 10% market share and experiencing the highest growth in this segment. The company is committed to integrating intelligent technology and outdoor lifestyle preferences into its new energy vehicles, catering to luxury-oriented consumers.

Strategic Partnerships to Enhance Industrial Capabilities

ROX is collaborating with seven prominent UAE organizations to create a comprehensive industrial ecosystem that encompasses logistics, artificial intelligence, advanced materials, manufacturing, and talent development. The company aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 units by 2030, contributing significantly to the UAE’s Operation 300Bn initiative.

This initiative is supported by strategic partnerships with various entities, including the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) for the Advanced AI Manufacturing Centre, Borouge for advanced materials, and Aleria for intelligent mobility solutions. Additionally, ROX is working with Tahaluf Al Emarat to enhance mobility data intelligence and smart city applications.

Focus on Design and Talent Development

In tandem with its industrial strategy, ROX is expanding its design and talent development initiatives. The Design Commission Abu Dhabi (DCAD) will collaborate with ROX to create a special-edition vehicle inspired by Abu Dhabi, which will be auctioned during Abu Dhabi Car Week in November. Proceeds from this auction will support DCAD’s automotive residency programs. This partnership also aims to establish an automotive design residency by 2027, fostering local creative talent.

Moreover, ROX is partnering with Al Khaznah Leathers (AKL) to incorporate traditional leather craftsmanship into innovative materials and product development. The company is also collaborating with the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI) to enhance vocational training and long-term talent development.

Financial Support for Global Expansion

ROX has engaged Standard Chartered Bank to provide financial services that will facilitate its global expansion and long-term growth across various markets. This partnership is expected to enhance ROX’s operational capabilities as it scales its business internationally.

Jarvis, the Founder and CEO of ROX, emphasized the importance of these partnerships, stating that the company is focused on connecting capabilities across the industrial value chain. He noted that this initiative aims to establish a cohesive system encompassing advanced manufacturing, regional service, and export, thereby strengthening the UAE’s position as a global production and export hub.

Recent Developments and Future Prospects

ROX’s strategy is already yielding tangible results. Recently, the company collaborated with JINGDONG Logistics to set up a regional spare parts hub in the UAE, which will enhance aftersales service and solidify the country’s role as a central service and supply chain base for the MENA region and beyond. This initiative follows the establishment of ROX’s Global Headquarters in Abu Dhabi, further integrating the UAE into the company’s global operations.

These developments signify a transition from isolated capabilities to a more integrated industrial system, where advanced manufacturing, supply chains, technology, and talent are developed collaboratively. ROX’s UAE-based ecosystem is poised to serve as a platform for its global growth while contributing to the UAE’s emergence as a leading hub for advanced manufacturing and export.
