Dubai is experiencing a welcome shift in weather, with temperatures dropping to the high-30s and humidity levels easing to around 80%, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Today, Dubai is expected to peak at 38°C, while Abu Dhabi will reach 39°C. This change is providing residents with a more comfortable outdoor experience.
The NCM has forecasted generally fair weather across the UAE, with partly cloudy skies and a possibility of convective cloud formation in the eastern regions by the afternoon. Areas such as Fujairah and Kalba may see scattered rainfall as a result.
Less Humidity, Lower Temperatures
While humidity has decreased overall, the NCM warns that it may rise again tonight and into Wednesday morning, particularly in coastal and internal areas, leading to potential fog or mist formation. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain in the mid- to high-30s across the country.
In detail, Abu Dhabi will reach a high of 39°C, while Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah will see maximum temperatures of 38°C. Other emirates, including Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah, will peak at 37°C.
Calm Sea Conditions
The NCM also reports light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds, with speeds of up to 30 km/h along the coast and in internal areas. Sea conditions are expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf, with gentle waves reaching heights of up to two feet onshore and up to three feet offshore. In the Sea of Oman, conditions will be slight to moderate, with waves reaching heights of up to two feet onshore and four feet offshore.
