Government Assurance and Condemnation
The UAE’s Ministry of Defense stated that the sounds heard throughout the country were associated with the ongoing interception efforts. The ministry confirmed that debris from these intercepts caused minor to moderate damage to civilian facilities in certain areas.
In a clear stance against the attacks, the ministry condemned them as “a blatant act of aggression and a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and international law.” It expressed that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors remains the highest priority and emphasized its readiness to respond to any further escalations.
The Ministry also urged the public to rely on official channels for information and to refrain from sharing unverified reports related to the situation.
