Hindustan Times led with an impressive 88.8% increase year-on-year, followed closely by India Times and India.com, both marking a growth of 58.2%. In the U.S., Substack made an impressive leap, growing by 51.2% to reach 112.2 million monthly visits, suggesting an increasing preference for independent and niche journalism among audiences.

Within the mainstream news brands, notable growth was seen in Reuters, Politico, and the Wall Street Journal, with year-on-year increases of 23.2%, 27%, and 17% respectively. However, the month was marked by significant losses in traffic for several tabloid publications. The Sun fell by 27.9%, the New York Post saw a 25.6% drop, and the Daily Mail decreased by 24%. Particularly in March, it was observed that many Indian news sites were on the rise, with India.com notably achieving a 191% growth over the year.
