The new flagship store in Dubai showcases Skims’ global retail aesthetic, featuring a minimalist design characterized by smooth, monolithic forms and soft, inviting lighting. Curved architectural elements and reflective surfaces add to the store’s modern atmosphere, highlighted by oversized 3D signage representing the Skims brand.

Shoppers can expect to find a carefully curated assortment of Skims’ popular collections, including Fits Everybody, Seamless Sculpt, Cotton Fleece, Cotton Rib, Cotton Jersey, Boyfriend styles, and men’s underwear.

“Dubai is one of the most vibrant retail destinations globally, and the enthusiasm we’ve seen from local customers made this opening a natural progression for us,” stated Jens Grede, co-founder and CEO of Skims. He expressed excitement about the store’s launch at such a significant shopping center, emphasizing it as a major step in the brand’s global expansion strategy.

Grede continued, “We are thrilled to introduce Skims to Mall of the Emirates, a milestone that allows us to engage more deeply with a region that is at the forefront of setting global trends.”

This new launch is made possible through Skims’ partnership with the luxury retail group, Al Tayer Insignia. This collaboration underscores Skims’ commitment to enhancing immersive in-store shopping experiences, a strategy that has been increasingly important to the brand’s growth.

“We take pride in the opening of the first Skims store in the region, marking a significant advancement not only for our customers but also for Al Tayer Insignia’s retail offerings,” remarked Dee Sarai, CEO of Al Tayer Insignia. She noted that Skims has emerged as a leader in reimagining comfort and inclusivity within modern wardrobe essentials and asserted that there is significant demand for the brand locally.

“Introducing Skims to our market reflects our ongoing commitment to presenting innovative and relevant brands while providing exceptional shopping experiences that resonate with our clientele. We look forward to establishing a strong, enduring presence for Skims in the region,” Sarai added.

Notably, Skims recently opened a standalone store at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, just a few months after launching its inaugural California location. This new Dubai store joins Skims’ growing list of permanent locations, which already includes stores in key cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Georgetown, Aventura, Austin, Houston, Atlanta, Boca Raton, Paramus, Las Vegas, Bloomington, Palo Alto, Tysons, and even Mexico City.
