Shark Tank Dubai announces fourth season to boost entrepreneurship and investment opportunities

Published:

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) has announced the return of Shark Tank Dubai for its fourth season, following the previous season’s success, which generated over AED 42 million in investments for 25 projects. This new season aims to further support entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing them with opportunities to secure funding and expert guidance.

Shark Tank Dubai 4 will allow participants to present their business ideas to a panel of distinguished investors, who will evaluate their proposals and potentially invest in their ventures. This initiative aligns with DMI’s commitment to fostering Dubai’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which seeks to double the emirate’s economy and enhance its global economic standing.

Investment Opportunities and Expert Guidance

The upcoming season is set to feature entrepreneurs from both the UAE and international markets, showcasing a variety of innovative projects. Participants will discuss their business models and investment needs, aiming to secure deals that can propel their businesses forward. In exchange, investors will receive equity stakes in the ventures they choose to support.

Salem Baluyouha, Executive Director of Content at DMI, emphasized the program’s role in merging media impact with economic value, stating that Shark Tank Dubai has become a vital platform for connecting promising ideas with experienced investors. He noted that the show’s return reflects DMI’s dedication to developing content that aligns with Dubai’s economic ambitions.

Support from Emirates Airlines

Emirates Airlines is sponsoring the fourth season, with Boutros Boutros, the airline’s Executive Vice President for Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Brand, highlighting the program’s significance in promoting entrepreneurship. He stated, “This sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance Dubai’s position as a global hub for business, innovation, and investment.”

The investor panel for this season will include notable figures such as Mohammed Al Zaabi, CEO of OBK Investment Group; Mona Ataya, founder of Mumsworld; and Tawfiq Kreidieh, co-founder of Brands For Less Group, among others. Their extensive experience in business leadership is expected to provide valuable insights to participating entrepreneurs.

Building on Previous Success

The third season of Shark Tank Dubai attracted over 77 entrepreneurs, showcasing a diverse range of projects across 13 episodes. The program successfully connected these entrepreneurs with investment opportunities and industry expertise, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as an attractive destination for business growth.

As Shark Tank Dubai prepares for its fourth season, it continues to play a crucial role in empowering a new generation of entrepreneurs, helping them transform their ideas into viable businesses that contribute to the emirate’s economic landscape. For more details, visit Emirates247.
