The evolving model positions the AI Campus as a dynamic hub for innovation, designed to scale its impact and continuously attract new ideas and opportunities.
Strategic Pillars of the AI 100 Program
The AI Campus is built upon three strategic pillars: AI and innovation, education, and energy efficiency. The AI 100 Program, a four-year initiative, aims to identify, develop, and cultivate a pipeline of 100 growth-stage, AI-native startups in Egypt by 2030.
The program will provide immersive boot camps, industry and venture workshops, applied AI programming, and capital readiness tracks. It will also facilitate direct engagement with stakeholders at the Sumou Boulevard AI Campus, aiming to seamlessly integrate them into the ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to position these startups as future anchor tenants of the AI Campus, reinforcing its role as the central hub for Egypt’s AI ecosystem.
Statements from Key Leaders
Eng. Bedeir Rizk articulated the significance of the AI Campus, stating that it marks a defining moment for Egypt, representing a convergence of innovation, education, and sustainability. He emphasized that the collaboration with Plug & Play Tech Center is not merely about building infrastructure but about creating an adaptive ecosystem that welcomes diverse partners and evolves with emerging opportunities. The AI 100 Program is seen as a vital engine for high-impact partnerships, with the collaboration with Schneider Electric serving as a foundational step in establishing global alliances that integrate advanced technology with sustainable infrastructure.
Sébastien Riez highlighted Schneider Electric’s commitment to enabling smart, sustainable urban development. He noted that the AI Campus will serve as a living laboratory where advanced technologies can accelerate sustainable innovation.
