After her cameo in Radhe Shyam, actress Riddhi Kumar has joined forces again with the beloved actor Prabhas for their upcoming film, The Raja Saab. This time, she takes on a pivotal role opposite him, marking a significant moment in her career. During an exclusive interview with Zoom, Riddhi opened up about her experiences on set and her expectations for the film, which is set to hit theaters on January 9, 2026.
Excitement for *The Raja Saab*
In her interview, Riddhi expressed palpable enthusiasm for the project. “Honestly, the experience of working on The Raja Saab has been incredible. The set is grand and adds a luxurious feel to the entire production. I am genuinely thrilled to be part of this film,” she remarked.
Reflecting on her previous collaboration with Prabhas, Riddhi said, “In Radhe Shyam, I had a guest appearance, but this time, I share the screen with him directly. He remains just as wonderful as I remembered. Prabhas is an absolute darling to work with; he’s very sweet, understanding, and exceptionally helpful. His dedication to his work is impressive.”
As she journeys through the filming process, Riddhi is currently in Greece shooting a song for the movie. She shared, “It’s a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait for everyone to see the final result.”
Riddhi Kumar’s Upcoming Marathi Film *Kadhipatta*
Before The Raja Saab hits theaters, Riddhi will also be seen in her Marathi film, Kadhipatta, which is scheduled for release on November 7, 2025. In this film, she portrays Meera, a young woman navigating the complexities of modern relationships.
While discussing her character, Riddhi noted, “Meera is expressive and opinionated, a true woman of today. Without giving away too much, the film opens with a divorce stemming from challenging circumstances, and her emotional journey unfolds from there. Initially, Meera stands confidently by her opinions, but they come off as quite one-sided.”
Throughout the film, Riddhi highlights the character’s growth. “As the narrative progresses, Meera develops a broader perspective on people and the situations around her. This transformation is central to the story, and I’m excited for viewers to witness her evolution,” she shared.
As the release dates for both The Raja Saab and Kadhipatta approach, Riddhi Kumar remains energized and eager to engage her audience with stories that resonate on deeper levels.
