Qatar’s real estate trading has exceeded QAR 387 million (approximately $106.11 million) from September 6 to September 10, as reported by the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice. This significant figure reflects a robust market activity, with sales contracts alone amounting to QAR 322.45 million and residential unit sales contributing an additional QAR 65.45 million.
The trading activity encompassed a diverse range of properties, including vacant land, residential units, and commercial buildings. This broad spectrum of transactions highlights the dynamic nature of Qatar’s real estate market, with notable activity recorded across various municipalities such as Doha, Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, Al Daayen, Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Thakhira, and Al Shamal.
Active Development Areas
Key development and residential areas such as Lusail 69, The Pearl, Al Wukair, Al Gharrafa, Ghar Thuaileb, Al Kharayej, and Al Dafna 60 have also seen significant trading activity. This trend indicates a sustained interest in both established and emerging neighbourhoods within the region.
The recent figures follow a period of heightened real estate activity in Qatar. For instance, between August 30 and September 3, the total value of real estate trading through registered sales contracts surpassed QAR 586 million. Earlier in August, combined trading from registered sales contracts and residential unit transactions reached over QAR 411 million.
In the week prior, from August 16 to August 20, the market recorded combined trading exceeding QAR 371 million, further underscoring the ongoing momentum in Qatar’s real estate sector. These statistics reflect a consistent demand for property across major municipalities and established mixed-use development areas.
As Qatar continues to develop its real estate landscape, these figures suggest a positive outlook for the market, driven by diverse property offerings and sustained investor interest. For more details on the latest trends in the region, visit Economy Middle East.
