Nutanix Expands Agentic AI Capabilities, Empowering Neoclouds to Deliver Enhanced AI Services by 2026
DUBAI, UAE – Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, has announced plans to introduce new features for its Nutanix Agentic AI solution in the latter half of 2026. These enhancements aim to support a new generation of AI cloud providers, referred to as neoclouds, in delivering secure and scalable AI services to AI engineers and developers.
The rise of AI has catalyzed the emergence of neocloud providers, which offer rapid access to GPUs through flexible, on-demand services. While initial demand has primarily stemmed from a select group of large customers focused on AI training workloads, the next phase will emphasize scaling inference and deploying agentic AI applications for a broader range of enterprise clients. As organizations implement and scale these applications, they increasingly require platforms that offer enterprise-grade security, performance, control, and self-service capabilities, all while lowering the cost per token for AI services.
To address these evolving needs, neocloud providers are transitioning from mere GPU infrastructure providers to comprehensive AI service platforms.
Expanding AI Service Offerings
Nutanix will enable neoclouds to provide an expanded catalog of AI services, including GPU-as-a-service, Kubernetes-as-a-service, and an enterprise-ready AI platform service powered by Nutanix Agentic AI. This solution is a complete software stack specifically designed to facilitate the adoption of agentic AI, simplifying complexity and optimizing both performance and security. It aims to deliver lower and more predictable token costs.
The introduction of a multitenant, multiservice portal will allow neocloud providers to offer high-value AI services on their GPU infrastructure, supporting sovereign AI deployments. This will grant enterprise users enhanced control over their data, infrastructure, and AI operations.

He noted that organizations are increasingly seeking ways to access AI while retaining control over their data. The Nutanix Agentic AI solution, featuring a secure multitenant and AI management portal, is designed to enable neocloud providers to swiftly deliver advanced AI services to enterprises and public sector organizations.
Enhancements in Multitenancy
Nutanix Agentic AI updates will incorporate the next generation of Nutanix’s multitenancy framework, delivered through Nutanix Service Provider Central. This framework is designed to assist neocloud providers in securely managing shared AI infrastructure at scale. It introduces robust tenant isolation and granular resource management, allowing multiple enterprises to operate on the same physical GPU infrastructure while ensuring predictable performance, security, and data isolation.
These advancements will empower neocloud builders to dynamically allocate GPU and compute resources across tenants, enforce tenant-specific security and networking policies, and create independent AI environments for each customer. This will include a comprehensive catalog of services such as GPU-aaS, K8S-aaS, VM-aaS, Notebooks-aaS, VectorDB-aaS, and Models-aaS.
Enhancing AI Service Operations
Complementing the new multitenancy capabilities, enhancements to Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) will assist service providers in operating and monetizing AI infrastructure as a service. NCM will offer monitoring of AI infrastructure and introduce usage-based metering, enabling providers to track and bill customers based on GPU usage, API calls, or model consumption.
These capabilities will allow providers to manage capacity, monitor tenant usage, and operate distributed AI infrastructure through a unified management interface. This will help neocloud builders deliver scalable AI services while maintaining operational control.

The new multitenant and NCM capabilities for Nutanix Agentic AI are currently available for early access partners and are expected to be generally available in the second half of 2026.
