Naumi Hotels Launches First Middle East Property in Dubai

Date:

Singapore-based boutique hotel brand Naumi Hotels has made a remarkable entry into the Middle East hospitality scene by acquiring a prominent 237-room hotel located in Barsha Heights, Dubai. This strategic move marks Naumi Hotels’ first venture into the region, signaling its ambitions to expand beyond its established stronghold in the Asia-Pacific.

The acquisition was supported by expert advisory services from asset management company SunStar Capital, which played a pivotal role in facilitating the hotel transaction. This partnership underscores the careful planning and strategic investment behind Naumi Hotels’ regional expansion.

The newly acquired property in Dubai is a full-service hotel, thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of both business and leisure travelers. Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities including a rejuvenating spa, a rooftop pool with stunning views, two distinct restaurants offering diverse dining experiences, a well-equipped fitness centre, and versatile meeting spaces perfect for corporate events and social gatherings.

Conveniently situated near the Dubai Internet City Metro Station, the hotel offers excellent connectivity to key destinations. For shoppers and entertainment seekers, the world-famous Mall of the Emirates is just a ten-minute drive away, while the iconic Palm Jumeirah is accessible within 15 minutes. This prime location enhances the hotel’s appeal as a hub for exploring Dubai’s dynamic lifestyle and business opportunities.

Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, CEO of Naumi Group, shared the enthusiasm behind the brand’s Middle Eastern debut. Reflecting on the success achieved in the Asia-Pacific region, he described Dubai as the epicenter of the local hospitality market, characterized by innovation and a cosmopolitan vibrancy where global brands and sophisticated travelers converge. He expressed excitement about bringing Naumi’s unique blend of creativity and forward-thinking hospitality to a city that aligns perfectly with the brand’s vision.

In line with its commitment to excellence, Naumi Hotels has revealed plans for a phased upgrade focused on enhancing the hotel’s visual identity and elevating the overall guest experience. These improvements aim to reflect the brand’s artistic and experiential approach, ensuring every stay is memorable and immersive.

This Dubai property expands Naumi Hotels’ portfolio, which currently includes eight boutique hotels spread across Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and the UAE. Paul Stocker, Naumi Group’s Chief Operating Officer, emphasized the brand’s philosophy of pushing the boundaries of boutique hospitality with each new hotel. He highlighted Dubai as an ideal setting to showcase the brand’s playful sophistication and ability to create unexpected moments that resonate with the city’s energetic spirit.

Founded in Singapore in 2007, Naumi Hotels has built a reputation for managing boutique hotels that combine style, comfort, and a distinct sense of place. Their recent Middle Eastern acquisition underscores a broader expansion strategy aimed at solidifying their presence in this vibrant and rapidly growing hospitality market.

With this bold step into Dubai, Naumi Hotels is poised to make a significant impact, blending its signature artistic approach with the dynamic, cutting-edge environment of one of the world’s most exciting cities.
