Minor Hotels Expands Its Footprint in Dubai with Strategic Partnership

A Significant Addition to Minor Hotels’ Portfolio

In a bold move to enhance its global reach, Minor Hotels, a prominent name in the hospitality industry, has signed a strategic management agreement for a stunning beachfront property on Palm West Beach in Dubai. This partnership with Seven Tides is set to take effect from August 1, 2025, and introduces a new resort and serviced residences currently known as Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel. This addition not only reinforces Minor Hotels’ commitment to the United Arab Emirates but also secures its status as the largest operator on the Trunk of the Palm Jumeirah.

Prime Location and Property Features

The new resort will boast 273 hotel keys alongside 287 serviced apartments, conveniently located adjacent to NH Collection Dubai The Palm, which just opened in February 2023. With the agreement in place, Minor Hotels will proudly manage a total of 1,524 keys across three properties on Palm Jumeirah, including the already well-regarded Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. This growth epitomizes the group’s enduring commitment to the region’s hospitality landscape.

Set in one of Dubai’s most sought-after lifestyle spots, the property provides guests direct access to a vibrant beachfront promenade teeming with upscale restaurants, beach clubs, and entertainment venues. The area is also just a convenient 30-minute drive from Dubai International Airport, making it a prime choice for both leisure and business travellers alike.

Diverse Accommodation and Amenities

The property isn’t just about luxurious rooms; it offers a variety of accommodation options tailored to diverse guest needs. The serviced apartments include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts, providing ample choices for families and groups. On top of that, guests can indulge in six unique dining venues, which range from a specialty restaurant to a relaxed pool bar.

But the offerings don’t end there: a private beach, infinity pool, lazy river, and a plethora of wellness and family-friendly facilities await guests. This amalgamation of luxury and convenience promises to elevate the overall guest experience to new heights.

A Commitment to Excellence

To ensure the property’s offerings remain competitive, Minor Hotels plans to carry out a soft refurbishment of the guest rooms and public spaces before a rebranding initiative set for 2025. This signifies the group’s dedication to not just meet but exceed the expectations of both guests and partners, enhancing the market position of the hotel.

Statements from the Leadership

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, noted the importance of this collaboration, stating, “This expanded collaboration with Seven Tides represents a strategic alignment of values and vision. Palm Jumeirah is one of the most dynamic hospitality markets in the world, and securing a dominant presence on West Beach enables us to bring our elevated guest experiences to a location that perfectly embodies the energy and ambition of Dubai.”

Amir Golbarg, Senior Vice President of Minor Hotels for the Middle East & Africa, echoed this sentiment by acknowledging the significance of this strategic growth initiative. “This new addition not only reflects our strategic vision for growth in high-demand urban resort destinations but also strengthens our valued relationship with Seven Tides. Together, we look forward to elevating the guest experience and delivering long-term success on Palm Jumeirah.”

Abdulla bin Sulayem, CEO of Seven Tides, also weighed in, emphasizing the synergy between the properties. He remarked, “This is a strategic appointment as Minor Hotels already successfully manages our existing asset, the neighbouring NH Collection Dubai The Palm. The proven track record of Minor Hotels in delivering elevated guest experiences makes them the ideal partner to manage this property.”

An Eye on Future Growth

With this latest addition, Minor Hotels is not just expanding; it’s solidifying its position within the UAE’s competitive hospitality landscape. Currently operating 17 properties across five brands in the region, the group is dedicated to identifying strategic opportunities and leveraging strong partnerships for sustainable growth.
