Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, recently inaugurated Beautyworld Middle East. This renowned international trade fair is regarded as the ultimate hub for beauty products, hair, fragrances, and wellness in the region. The event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 27 to 29, boasts over 2,500 exhibitors and seeks to welcome an impressive 80,000 visitors from more than 160 countries, marking a historic high in its 29-year tenure.

During her visit, Sheikha Latifa toured diverse country and international pavilions, gaining insights into groundbreaking products and trends that are set to redefine the global beauty landscape. Accompanied by His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, the Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, her presence underscored the event’s importance. The exhibition spans an expansive 22 halls, solidifying Dubai’s status as a premier destination for significant international exhibitions and a focal point for new market opportunities that contribute to the global economy.

Organized by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, Beautyworld serves as a vital platform for product discovery, business expansion, and international collaboration. It embraces various sectors, including fragrances, cosmetics, skincare, haircare, personal care, packaging, technology, and wellness. This year, event director Ravi Ramchandni emphasized that Beautyworld Middle East has become the crossroads of the beauty industry, where innovative trends, strategic partnerships, and global creativity intersect.

‘First Editions’: A Launchpad for Emerging Brands
One of the standout features this year is the ‘First Editions’ showcase located in Hall 6. This area highlights eight promising emerging brands that blend advanced skincare technology with holistic wellness. Handpicked by Valérie Kaminov, the founder of the International Luxury Brand Consultancy, these brands have been identified as the next wave of beauty innovation, attracting attention from distributors, retailers, and investors alike.
BeautyLIVE by Fresha: A Record-Setting Initiative
Returning with greater ambition, ‘beautyLIVE by Fresha’ aims to set a Guinness World Record by hosting the most beard shaves and trims in an hour. This popular platform also features the Wella R.I.S.E showcase. Attendees can look forward to live masterclasses and beauty transformations over the three-day event. The highlights include hair coloring expertise on the first day, barbering techniques led by STMNT on the second day, and collaborations with industry giants like Dyson on the concluding day.
Star Artists and Masterclasses
The event will see the presence of renowned global makeup artists such as Hung Vanngo, Bassam Fattouh, and Nikki Wolff, who will conduct exclusive sessions. These masterclasses will delve into celebrity beauty aesthetics and editorial techniques, showcasing cultural artistry trends in partnership with major cosmetics brands.
Emphasis on Natural Ingredients and Sustainability
For the first time, the exhibition will feature a dedicated space highlighting natural fragrance ingredients, showcasing compounds like rose, jasmine, and oud. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Resperfuma, integrates nine leading producers focused on sustainability and community-driven sourcing.
The ‘Next in Fragrance’ Initiative
Another exciting component is the ‘Next in Fragrance’ program, which gathers master perfumers and industry analysts to discuss the future of perfumery. With a lineup of 26 sessions featuring over 80 speakers, keynotes include contributions from Roja Dove and Mohamed Hilal, the CEO of the Mohamed Hilal Group, which is well-known for its Emirati brands.
Niche Perfume Showcase: ‘Quintessence’
‘Quintessence’ returns as a flagship destination, attracting visitors with luxurious and rare fragrance creations. This year, the area has expanded significantly and showcases over 100 niche perfume brands like Xerjoff and Boadicea the Victorious, appealing to buyers in search of originality and craftsmanship.
Educational Focus and Competitions
The exhibition will also feature ‘Front Row,’ a core area dedicated to technical education and creative inspiration, with live demonstrations from leading brands such as ghd and Revlon. Additionally, the competitive nail artistry challenge ‘Nail It!’ makes a comeback, with broader global participation and new creative categories.
Supporting Startups in the Beauty Sector
The ‘Beauty Beginnings’ zone returns with a focus on startup growth in skincare, fragrance, and haircare, featuring 18 innovative brands. Prominent names include Ki’Olal and BodyGuardz, showcasing pioneering products aimed at a growing market.
Celebrating Excellence in Beauty
The sixth edition of the Beautyworld Middle East Awards will culminate the event on October 29, 2025, at Conrad Hotel Dubai. This gala will celebrate creativity, innovation, and leadership across multiple categories, bringing together key figures from the global beauty realm.
