Yuneeb Khan Appointed as CFO of KnowBe4: A Strategic Move for Human Risk Management

KnowBe4, a leader in the field of human and agentic AI risk management, recently welcomed Yuneeb Khan as its new Chief Financial Officer. He steps into this role following the retirement announcement from Bob Reich, who will stay on as an advisor until the end of Q1 2026. During this transition, Reich will work closely with Khan to ensure a smooth handover.

A Strong Foundation for Growth

Bryan Palma, CEO of KnowBe4, expressed confidence in Khan’s capabilities, highlighting his extensive background in both public and private sectors. “Yuneeb’s extensive experience across public and privately held companies makes him the ideal leader for KnowBe4 as we continue to scale our human risk management platform and deliver exceptional results for our customers,” Palma remarked.

Reich has played a vital role in fortifying KnowBe4’s financial structure over the past four years, guiding the company through key milestones that have positioned it for further growth. His legacy will be essential as Khan takes the reins.

Leading the Financial Strategy

In his new position, Khan will not only manage the company’s global finance organization but also collaborate closely with executive leadership and the board of directors. His focus will be on increasing customer value, driving market innovations, and ensuring profitable growth for KnowBe4.

With over 30 years of diverse experience spanning multiple industries and continents, Khan is well-equipped for this role. He has successfully navigated organizations through rapid expansions and complex transformations, all while fostering high-performing teams and strong financial disciplines.

Proven Track Record

Before joining KnowBe4, Khan served as CFO at Trellix, overseeing the finance team during a crucial integration and growth phase. His previous experience at Quotient Technologies involved significant financial turnaround strategies and pivotal merger activities. Notably, Khan spent 20 years at Nielsen and General Electric, serving in several impactful financial and operational roles both in the United States and internationally.

His early career at PricewaterhouseCoopers laid a strong foundation for the financial acumen he now brings to KnowBe4.

A Forward-Looking Vision

Expressing his enthusiasm for this new chapter, Khan stated, “I am thrilled to join KnowBe4 at such a pivotal moment in the organization’s history. KnowBe4’s dedication to managing human and agentic AI risk is critical, and I look forward to working with the leadership team to deliver greater customer value and extend our lead as the human risk management leader.”

As KnowBe4 continues to grow and adapt to the evolving complexities of human risk management, Khan’s insights and leadership will be vital. His appointment signals a commitment to reinforcing the company’s standing in the market while aiming for innovative approaches to financial management and customer engagement.

In summary, KnowBe4 has positioned itself strongly with Khan at the financial helm, ensuring that the foundation laid by Reich is built upon for sustainable growth and leadership in human risk management.
